“The Cheeze Plant”
Olivia: “Mommy, did you know that carrots are roots?”
Me: “Yes, I did. So are potatoes and cabbages and other vegetables. Mommy’s going to plant some in our garden next year.”
Victoria: “Mommy, can we plant some cheese too?”
“The Princess and the Washing Machine”
We were watching ‘Sofia the First’ (a princess movie) and Victoria said, “Mommy, why is the princess wearing the same dress she wore last night? Doesn’t she put it in the laundry?”
“Cleaning a Clean House”
Both Olivia and Victoria were helping me clean (and if you know me, I’m a cleanaholic) by dusting each other’s bedrooms. Olivia was instructing Victoria how to move stuff around so she could get in there with the dust cloth. Victoria gives Olivia a puzzled look and asks, “But where’s the dust?”
“What Book?”
Olivia had been getting into a very bad habit of procrastinating when it came to bed time. I finally caught up to her tactic and told her, “You do this every night and try to use every game in the book to delay bed time!” I exclaimed. She thought about that comment for a moment and asked innocently “What book?”

Cute!
Kids have such a different and sweet view of our world. But I think I always wondered what book too.
~Allie
@AllieRambles yes, this is true! She once commented about someone on tv saying ‘throw the book at him’ and she had a strange look on her face
Ha! It took me forever to figure out what “mustache’s” were… Zach (back when he was Zachy) used to always ask me, “Momma are there any mustaches in that?” …he was talking about mushrooms!
And hey, I would like a copy of that book!
@AlaskaChickBlog Haha! Kids are hilarious! It’s just a blog for now….hopefully if enough people like it I’ll self publish
